Bodega Bay. Went while it was raining, figured nobody would be there. Cleared up but only saw a couple other birders and crab fishermen.

Willets. Nice easy to ID Willets.

Western Grebe.

Glaucous-winged Gull.

This is a male Surf Scoter. New Bird.

This is his girl.

Lesser Scaup.

The instant this Ring-billed Gull grabbed this crab (which had been there for several minutes) it was bombarded by larger Western Gulls.
"Mine?!"

Red-shouldered Hawk.

Female Northern Harrier.

A young Common Loon eating something.

American Kestrel hovering.

Marbled Godwit.

Lone female Bufflehead.

Snowy Egret.

Great Egret.

Canvasback. New bird.

Many Buffleheads. The males have the huge white spot.

'Just let me honk! Just let me honk once! They deserve it for being too comfortable!'

Okay, Eli.
