New bird: Pied Grebe. Bird 131.

Oak Titmouse. These are pretty brave little brutes for being the size of a chickadee.

Either a mongrel or a leucistic Mallard couple. I thought the female was pretty. Blond gal.

Common Merganser.

A fairly common bird, but the shot turned out lovely, so I share him with you.

This is a Red-winged Blackbird. The western ones tend to have more red and less yellow. I caught this one at the max extension of his call. Laaaadies.

Who says geese can't be pretty? Look at those faces. Move over, Hugh Laurie.

Double-crested Cormorant.

Don't hate the custodian for the mess.

This felleh landed right in front of me. He didn't seem concerned, and even posed for a few nice shots.

And some odd ones.

Prehistoric eyes. The migration of ages.
