Annadel State Park

We went to Annadel State park today. It was a long hike.

We saw bluebelly lizards.

I thought for a moment I had finally found my Great Horned Owl...

But I was mistaken.

Only I would see a Bobcat before an owl.

And now for some real birds:

 Female Western Bluebird.

 Pied Grebe.

A Red-tailed Hawk having a bad wing day.

Cormorants!

I just thought this was pretty.

What a hike!!! It must have been a fantastic day. I,ve only seen a handful of live lynx/bobcats in my life. Count yourself lucky. And beautiful scenery to boot!! :) M
