Black-crowned Night-Heron. Always there, always full of fish.

Wild Turkeys. There were two males here fluffing up for the female, but this guy was the prettier one. He had MY vote, anyway. She didn't seem interested.

A male Downy Woodpecker.

A California Towhee. The first species of bird I got help for. Now I see them everywhere.

This is a type of flycatcher called a Black Phoebe. I've posted them before.

This made me laugh for half a block. He heard me too. I made sure of it.

The most surprising guest of the morning, a curious raccoon. He hung around a bit staring at me, then decided I was trouble and left.

Poor Griffin....
Nope.. that's a different orangey cat. This neighborhood had so many cats. Griffin has squintier eyes.
You meany! Didn't Raffi prove to you that cats have feelings too? (lol)
Saw a common yellowthroat the other day (had to look him up) He followed me for a few trees. He was quite cute. Liked his little mask.
