I have an idea what this is but I'm waiting for confirmation for it still and several other birds. Sandpipers are hard to learn, but this one is special because if it is what I thought it was, this is a rare bird sighting. It should not have been in that bay yesterday.

Went to Bodega Bay.. many birds, but waiting on IDs.

I'm not dead. Just bogged down.

Updates! I recently had my biometrics taken for my petition to lift the conditional status on my green card. It's put in place for new couples to prevent immigration abuse. Once they clear our second petition, my card will be good for ten years.

Our air conditioner broke. Thankfully two days later, winter came. Prolly just go ahead and dig out that heating blanket now.

What else? Hmm. Cat's fine, dog's fine. Amazing eh? He's getting on, though. Back legs kinda crap out periodically like faulty wiring. Which is exactly what it is. I've been thinking I don't want another dog. Eli says he wants a lab someday when we have a house. Til then though I prefer things that poop in a box inside; the sunshine hurts us, precious.

I'll never stray again.

This is a White-breasted Nuthatch.

Darkeyed Junco. Why is it called this? Well there's a yellow-eyed type also. That seems to be the only reason.

Northern Flickers. Finally.

Have some f***ing birds!
