Blue, black and white. Three smiliar and somewhat boring images. Starling, scrub jay crow.

A new bird for the collection! I hadn't gotten a mallard yet, despite seeing them all the time back home. Also a mounring dove, and a darkeyed junco. The mallard was a wild duck, believe it or not. When I got closer he gave a quack and flew off with three of his brown lady friends.

A male and female house finch. Red shouldered hawk. Black phoebe. I tried to sneak up on the hawk but he was having none of it.

Damn, I wanted a diamond ring.

A good day. Northern Mockingbird, Scrub Jay, Turkey Vulture. The mocker had a friend and they both sang to me. I will upload the video on my main blog.

A cat named Griffin. A scrub jay. A boxer who's eyes seem to be heading in opposite directions.

Crows playing around a tree. Cedar waxwings. American goldfinch male. He had a female with him in non-breeding plumage. Any time now she'll yellow up, my book says. Hang in there, guy.

Trying another setting on the camera. Thus, unforgivably crappy photos, and hopefully making up for it with a rather exceptional shot of a scrub jay. I took this shot while holding a bag of tacos. Go me.

Cats, cats, and a molting bushtit. Seems to be a common to have bald little heads this time of year. Maybe they have mites. This one is a male.

Wet birds. Rainy day in California. American robin, cedar waxwings, and a wet crow.

Been busy. Getting work done.
