A walk with the Redwoods

So we went for a long walk in Armstrong woods. It is about 10 degrees colder under them. We intended a longer walk, but ended up rushing a bit because of the cold. I got a few pictures for you're viewing pleasure. The widest tree is named Colonel Armstrong. He stands 308 feet tall and 14.6 meters around. They estimate his age around 1400 years. One heck of a tree. The tallest tree was 310 feet. I think it's about time Colonel Armstrong took the title from Parson Jones for that title.

It was enjoyable. I have more images, but can't seem to find a place to post them that isn't riddled with ads and various crap.

I can't wait to come home. I have gained weight, please be advised. Just enjoy my company, all extra weight of it!

A New Look!

I think I enjoy the way these blogs look in the end more. I am also spontaneous and wanted to do what all the cool kids are doing. I'm doing well in California. I don't go outside too much because the neighborhood is slightly on the unsafe side.

We're just counting down our 6 month lease and pondering where to go next.
