Saw this little guy today. Almost didn't stop. Glad we did! Red-necked Phalarope.

Everyone notices when even a young swan plows through.

Not new, but a nice shot of a couple White Pelicans.

The California Condor

While in Burbank we went to the zoo to see these guys. They exist in the wild around here due to a breeding program, but this is very likely the only way I will ever see one of these guys.  

This is just a crow I laughed at. It was a really rainy day.
